HELP AND TIPS:
+ Problem when unzip file: If you have problem with extract file please use latest version of winrar ( winrar is free )
+ Smoother faces and edges: You’ll need to add subdivision command to get a smoother curved version. ( For example: Turbosmooth in 3ds Max )
+ OBJ and FBX are not smooth: Contact me to get the smoother version for free. Or you can import them into 3D software, add subdivision command and re-export them as high-poly.
+ Lower version 3D software: Don’t worry about lower versions of 3D software. Use FBX or OBJ to import them.
+ Don’t forget to contact me if you encounter any other issues that aren’t listed above.

No more dual monitor setup.
Won’t ever do the two screen set up ever again. I used a 33” curve screen for years at my old job. I changed over to the 38” screen and love it.

Best monitor in its category!! MacBook/Coding
Can’t say enough how this monitor surpassed my expectations. I am using it with fully loaded 16″ MacBook Pro (i9/32GB/1TB) and I am using 1 cable (provided in the box) to connect, charge and have my mechanical keyboard and mouse connected to its hub.
Pros:
– For content creators, worth to note that color correction is really close out of the box.
– Better looking than the LG counterpart In my opinion, it looks more business oriented.
– 21/9 ratio, I was deciding between this and the 49″ 32/9 ratio one, for me the former provides more vertical real estate which essential if you are a software engineer like myself.
Cons: (REALLY CANNOT FIND ANY)
For people who had issues having full resolution with a MacBooks:
1) Go system preferences/displays
2) Select “Default for display”
3) Press and hold the Alt key
4) Select “Scaled” while holding the Alt Key
5) A list of resolutions will show up
6) Select the desired one. -

Multi tasking with one beautiful screen
Love my new monitor. I had two large monitors and wanted something with as much screen size but less lower desk space needed for 2 bases. This works great for that – I am able to multitask at work, and with built in KVM switch I have my desktop also connected and switch between desktop and laptop with the Dell Display Manager software. I also like how I can use just one mouse, camera and keyboard with the upstream and downstream usb connections. Great product.

Outstanding monitor
Exceptional quality and incredible performance for an unmatched increase in productivity.
This is by far the best monitor I’ve owned. But be warned, I do NOT recommend this monitor for design work. If you are a designer, you will be bothered by the curvature – your brain will pick up on it. But for everything else, it’s a definite benefit. The real estate and the curvature makes perception much better. Comparing this to my old 30″ Dell UltraSharp is like comparing apples to onions.Unknown

Great monitor. Using it as a KVM hooked up to three computers and working solid as expected. Not fantastic for gaming, but decent with v-synch turned on.
Keep in mind to be sure you have a decent GPU to run games at 1600p. For professionals, I highly recommend it.Buellers

Great for work and entertainment
First, it is a replacement of my previous dual monitor. Much more convenient and productive. Second, the ultra wide resolution is definitely great for movie and game. Third, just like other dell monitors, the quality, color, and the USB port are always of the best. Lastly, I am actually surprised by the sound quality of its built in speaker, although I am using an external one.

Recently, a lot of ultrawide monitors have entered the market, but Dell has been the leader in this segment since its inception, although LG has already crept close enough.
Now Dell’s ultra-wide monitor lineup has been expanded with the UltraSharp 38 Curved Monitor (U3818DW).
This is a huge curved monitor that has a 37.5-inch concave IPS panel with a resolution of 3840×1600 pixels (WQHD). It is factory calibrated and covers 99% sRGB color space.
The product is intended primarily for professionals working with 3D and CAD applications, employees of financial institutions, researchers, architects and other professionals. Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) functions allow you to receive an image from two sources simultaneously.
In addition, the built-in KVM switch allows you to quickly switch one set of monitor, keyboard and mouse between two PCs. Other highlights include Dell Display Manager software for flexible monitor setup and Dell Easy Arrange for organizing multiple applications on your desktop.
It is also known to equip the monitor with a USB-C port with a supported load power of up to 100W, which will allow one cable to transmit video, sound and power when connecting a laptop to the monitor, and two built-in 9W speakers.
Dell UltraSharp 38 Curved Monitor (U3818DW) is not cheap – $1499, sales start is scheduled for June 23rd.
