How to boost your cell phone signal at home

Communication is key, and a great cell phone signal is essential because anything less makes communication difficult. If you frequently drop calls or experience poor signal, don’t worry—there are easy ways to improve your mobile signal strength at home.

Assess for damage

Before doing anything, check the phone for signs of damage. If you notice damage to the surface, such as cracks from accidental drops, chances are that something inside has broken. Damage is possible even if your phone has a case.

Consider taking your mobile phone to the shop where you bought it so that a staff member can test it for damage.

Update your phone

Another easy way to improve your mobile phone signal at home is to keep your phone up to date. When your provider releases updates for your phone software, please accept them or you may run into technical issues in the future.

These updates fix bugs in the software that may be causing your signal problems, so check your settings regularly for the latest updates. The location of the settings depends on the brand of your phone.

Get an internet signal booster

The problem may not be with your phone at all, but as a result of a weak signal. Buying a cell phone booster is one of the most effective ways to improve mobile strength at home. A weak signal usually occurs when you encounter the following:

  • Too far from a cell tower
  • Obstacles – natural and unnatural – blocking the signal path

These problems are common in rural areas, and simply changing your location to improve signal strength not always possible. Instead, you can simply buy an Internet amplifier for your country house to improve the signal of a mobile phone by strengthening its connection with the nearest cell tower. Consider buying a signal booster for your cell phone from Ys-System to solve this problem easily.

Change your carrier

Finally, as a last resort, change your cell phone carrier as some companies have better service than others. Before you do this, check which carriers are in your area and where their cell towers are located to make sure the problem doesn’t persist.

There are several ways to improve your cellular signal if you are dropping calls or having problems. Your phone may need to be repaired or updated. However, it’s also possible that you need to switch carriers, or you live too far from the nearest tower and need an internet booster. When you are looking for the best signal booster, buy the perfect internet booster from Ys-System.

Android is the leading mobile operating system with millions of apps on the Google Play Store. One of the benefits of owning an Android device (e.g. phone, tablet, drone, dash cam, mobile game console) is the ability to increase storage capacity. Adding storage is as easy as any non-specialist can do: just insert a microSD card or USB stick into the appropriate slot on the device and you’re done! Now the capacity of your device will be more than you could imagine. Users need more space for apps, videos, photos, movies, and documents so they can easily store and move files between devices without the need for an Internet connection.

If you have used SD or microSD memory cards before, you know that there is a wide range of options available with different capacities, classifications and usage scenarios. How do you know which one to buy? Before going into specific details, let’s look at the general information.

Look for the A1 or A2 class marking on the memory card. This means that the memory card is for using and storing applications. These designations are used in the relatively new application performance class specification. It was developed by the SD Association specifically for SD and microSD memory cards, which are designed for application-intensive situations such as Android devices. The speed of these memory cards is suitable for use in mobile devices for both media storage and application execution.

You may be wondering what is the difference between storing video, audio and photos and running applications. Storage is performed at a constant sequential write rate. Data is received at a constant high rate and stored in an orderly manner. When applications run, data bits are written randomly and placed wherever there is free space. Therefore, the process is called random read/write.

Both Class A1 and Class A2 are suitable for Android users as they provide random read and write speed suitable for application use, as well as a stable sequential write speed of at least 10 MB/s.

The first thing to do when choosing a microSD card for your Android device is to make sure the card is rated A1 or A2. Other memory cards will not work for you.

The capacity of microSD memory cards can be up to 512 GB. However, in this case, “more” does not necessarily mean “better”. If you lose the card or it breaks, you will lose over half a terabyte of files, documents and other important data! A rather high price for the convenience of storing on just one memory card.

There are two types of microSD memory cards in the family of memory cards that differ in capacity range: Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) and Secure Digital Extended Capacity (SDXC). SDHC memory cards range in capacity from 2GB to 32GB, while SDXC memory cards range from 32GB to 512TB. For reference, a 32 GB memory card can hold over 5,300 18-megapixel photos or nearly 3 hours of 720p video at 30 frames per second.

microSD cards (like standard SD cards) offer a range of speeds, and most cards have more than one classification. Naturally, your choice will be determined by the purpose of the additional storage. U1 or U3 class memory cards are great for general, everyday tasks and application data storage. However, if you like shooting 4K video, you might be better off with U3/V30, V60 or even V9 class memory cards.0.

While most users opt for microSD cards, another storage option is the well-known USB sticks. Most Android devices have a microUSB or USB-C® connector. When purchasing a flash drive, make sure it has the correct plug. If you only want to connect a flash drive to your smartphone, you only need one connector. However, some flash drives have two connectors, with a USB-A connector on the other end, making it easy to connect the drive to a laptop or PC.

microSD cards are compact and easy to use. Just insert the card into your device and forget about it. USB sticks are external devices completely separate from your device. So if you damage or lose your device, your data will be securely stored.

External storage is one of the biggest benefits of owning an Android device (and any Android user will almost always tell you that!). But no matter which storage device you choose to purchase, it’s important to check and make sure your Android device supports it first.
