    3. TOP 3 label printers for Wildberries | Which label printer to buy?

To start working with popular marketplaces, you need to take into account a number of requirements not only of a legal nature regarding confirmation of the status of an individual entrepreneur or legal entity. In addition to the basic conditions regarding confirmation of the status of an individual entrepreneur or legal entity. Marketplaces set specific requirements for product packaging and labeling. And the main one is the correct readable marking. About which printer to choose for Wildberry, in our article.

The first thing to mention right away is the printing technology. To work with marketplaces, it is better not to choose a thermal printer. Thermally printed labels are short-lived and easily damaged. So that your package does not lose identification marks after transportation and shipment to the warehouse and does not disappear on the shelves while waiting for the search application to be considered, you need to print the marking on a thermal transfer printer. Printing on such printers occurs using an ink ribbon.

In the TOP-3 marketplace printers, we included thermal transfer models from three manufacturers — TSC, Bsmart and Zebra.

So what kind of printer does Wildberries need? So, let’s take a look at printer models directly.

TSC TE200 Thermal Transfer Label Printer

TSC TE200 belongs to the class of desktop thermal transfer label printers. And it is one of the most popular models among the line of non-industrial printers of the Asian manufacturer TSC. In addition, popularity is fueled by a low price – this is the most inexpensive option among thermal transfer printers, which are designed for ribbon rolls up to 300 meters long.

If you have had a different brand of printer before and there is leftover ink ribbon, you can continue to use it. The TE200 can print on 0.5″ and 1″ core and OUT-wound ribbons from 74m to 300m.

The printer simply integrates with a computer via USB. It is compact and lightweight, so it won’t take up much space even in tight spaces.

The resolution of the TE200 is 203 dpi. This resolution will be sufficient for printing simple graphics, text and numerical information. But it is not intended for applying small fonts or barcodes, but this is not critical for trading on marketplaces. The TE200’s print speed of 152mm per second is excellent performance for busy work shifts.

And another plus from TSC is the company’s two-year warranty and a one-year printhead warranty. If any damage occurs, the courier will pick up your printer anywhere in the country for free and either return it in good condition or replace it with a new one. But because the TE200 is truly a workhorse, the risk of something happening to your printer is minimal.

Zebra GK420t Thermal Transfer Label Printer

The Zebra GK420t Printer is the new G-Series that delivers quality, durability and uptime. But it demonstrates a higher print speed – up to 102 mm / s, and this is up to 6,000 labels in one shift, and greater productivity due to the new processor. And the maximum size of the consumable roll will be 127 mm.

The GK420t has a segment standard print quality of 203 dpi. The maximum print width is 104 mm. Therefore, it is optimal for working with marketplaces – you can print wide and informative labels.

    The printer has interfaces:

    • Centronics Parallel;
    • USB;
    • RS-232.

Zebra GK420t is suitable for active trading, but it will not cope with the industrial load, although this is not critical for working with marketplaces.

Thermal transfer label printer Bsmart BS-460T

Bsmart BS-460T is the most budgetary of the participants in this TOP. And it is objectively simpler than the models that we talked about above, but this does not mean that it is not suitable for working with marketplaces.

The printer can print small labels up to a maximum ribbon width of 110 mm. And the print speed is unequivocally competitive at 152mm/s, so you can print up to 180 labels per minute.

Printer resolution can be either 203 or 300 dpi. It all depends on the configuration. Higher resolution allows complex graphics and text to be applied to labels up to the fourth font.

The highlight of the Bsmart BS-460T is its impressive memory capacity, which can be expanded and several connection options.

This printer is nimble and smooth, so if you’re on a budget, this printer is a great no-frills option.

    Label Printer Zebra GK420t
    Label printer BSMART BS460T
    Label printer TSC TE200

Instead of a postscript – which printer to buy for Wildberry labeling?

All three considered models will cope with the tasks of labeling goods for Wildberries. You can read more about labeling and requirements in our previous article. The performance of the printers is the same, so you can mark the same number of products. It’s hard to say which one is the best label printer for you, but the Bsmart BS-460T has the lowest price. TSC TE200 is also objectively inexpensive, completely indestructible and as reliable as possible for this price tag. And Zebra GK420t is the best choice if you are used to trusting well-known brands.

But we can say with confidence that TSC TE200, Zebra GK420t, and Bsmart BS-460T are fully adapted for online trading and compliance with Chestny Znak requirements.

    5 best printers and MFPs

Today, a home printer is a necessary item if there are schoolchildren and students in the house. Abstracts, reports, working papers, homework, study materials – you never know what you need to print out over the years of study. Printing technology not only makes life easier for the student, but also helps to learn effectively. For example, tasks sent to the electronic diary can be printed out before execution, and then, after scanning, send the result to the teacher.

What did we rely on when choosing a printer?

    • Size: as a rule, a student does not have much space for installing printing equipment, so the model should be compact.

    • Cost: It’s rare for a parent to be willing to spend a lot of money on a home printer. Especially knowing how children handle gadgets.

    • The cost of consumables: buy an inexpensive printer and go broke on consumables – this should not be.

    • Print Quality: The quality should be good.

    • Ability to print via USB and mobile.

Our review includes laser printers and MFPs with monochrome printing, since prices and availability of color printers and MFPs are now difficult to predict. The minimum price for a color MFP with the simplest functionality is from 53 tr.

To begin with, a small educational program on printing technology.

    1. Usually they buy inkjet printers at home, as they are cheaper both for purchase and for maintenance. However, it is worth remembering that if the inkjet breaks, it will have to be carried to the trash. Repair of inkjet printing equipment of the usual (A4) format is more expensive than buying a new one.

    2. Laser printers are more expensive, but they are more reliable and print faster. Any service center undertakes repairs.

    3. MFP (3-in-1 device – copier, scanner, printer) – much more profitable than buying only a printer. Its only negative: if one thing breaks, then you have to do without all the functions for the duration of the repair.

    • Print resolution: 1200×1200 dpi.
    • Duplex.

    • One of the heaviest desktop MFPs.
    • Difficulty installing drivers.
    • Work either through a wire or via wi-fi, both methods are not possible at the same time.
    • Scanning to pdf is problematic.
    • Expensive consumables.

A good device for a student who needs to print not only monochrome texts and diagrams, but also color educational materials. However, its cost is quite high and this device is often recommended to the office.

Our review presents 5 models of printers and MFPs for junior and senior students. It was difficult to limit ourselves to just five options, since each of the devices presented in the catalog has its own advantages. Moreover, in the current circumstances, many parents are buying office equipment with the aim of using the whole family during isolation and remote office. And, it is quite possible that after reviewing the presented models, you will not be able to make a choice.

We can give you the following recommendations:

    • If you need an inexpensive B&W printer or MFP – definitely Pantum brand. These are good workhorses with great functionality and excellent print quality. Production is located in China – there will definitely be no problems with consumables and supplies.
    • If you’re looking for a good, reliable car with a mid-range+ price, good warranty, and great service, go for Kyocera and Ricoh. These are brands that are easy to set up, have a large assortment and good functionality. They rarely break, and problems that arise, such as jams or paper jams, are “treated” with one call to the service, without the departure of the master. Unfortunately, there is currently very little choice.
    • If you have the space and the desire to own a good printing technique – take a closer look at Canon. The range of products, even in the new conditions, is not bad. Prices range from affordable to sky-high, depending on the required functionality. Consumables are not cheap, but capacious. Reviews are 99% great.
    • Offices often buy Xerox and HP. These are well-known brands, they have a large number of reviews.
