The Samsung RL50RR refrigerator was purchased in December 2014, it worked not bad for 3 years, but then the freezer began to tune up until an error appeared and the refrigerator turned off, the periodic appearance of water on the floor under the door of the freezer indicated that the cause of poor performance was most likely a blockage of the drainage channel. I contacted the Samsung technical support hotline, outlined the problem in detail and asked how I could clean the drainage channel and where the drainage hole was located, i.e. how to carry out maintenance of the refrigerator – in fact, its cleaning, because the documents attached to the product do not contain this information. A day later, I received an answer that this information is secret and that I need to contact an official service center that will service my refrigerator. In the operational documents for the refrigerator, there is no (hidden from the consumer) the need to clean the refrigerator in the service center (and for a lot of money), which is a misleading of the buyer and a manifestation of a disrespectful attitude towards him. And therefore, I do not recommend to acquaintances and close people to buy Samsung equipment.

I have a Liebherr refrigerator and freezer. There are no complaints about work. They work quietly. Defrosting is not required. I have had them for over 5 years. Whoever chooses this model, be prepared to change handles after this time. I have already replaced one. This is the most unworked place in this design. Either the plastic in the handle will burst, then the spring in the handle will break. One pen in the refrigerator costs 1700 rubles. Yes, the fridge is good.

Designer Ekaterina Loskutova designed a functional and very comfortable studio interior for a mathematics student at Moscow State University. Comfortable work and study from home, a place to watch movies, a large bed and a lot of storage space – the wishes of the customer, which were realized in a small area – there is only 29 square meters. m.

Details

The apartment was purchased in White Box , however, sockets, light and evenness of the walls left much to be desired. The boundaries of the bathroom were left the same, but the designer added a cabinet to the ceiling to correct the disproportionately large dimensions of the room. The customer wanted a full-fledged bed with a mattress of at least 160×200 cm. To organize storage and zoning, this area was allocated with a plywood podium and sliding partitions.

Everything is thought out according to the 60×4 formula: refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, oven. That is, the work surface above the dishwasher, plus the freed space from a non-standard sink and a two-burner stove. Everything fits and is easy to use.

“The large accent Italian chandelier-sconce Flos traveled from Italy for a very long time and threatened not to arrive at all. When I arrived, everyone really liked it,” says the designer. “It can illuminate three zones at once, depending on where it is taken (length is about 2 m).”

The painting by artist Alex Kuznetsov is a vivid reference to the young spirit of the tenant. The painting by Yakov Khomich matches in colors and playful mood with a small apartment in blue tones.

“All the furniture in my small apartments is a project within a project. I sew everything along the contour – window sills flow into storage along the walls, under the bed there is a storage mechanism that goes into a podium, where there are two more deep drawers. The kitchen and all cabinets are up to the ceiling, the bed has a built-in shelf up to the ceiling with outlets for sockets,” says the designer.

The apartment turns from a studio into two zones due to sliding partitions, the podium creates the feeling of several spaces in one. Lots of hidden storage, rounded walls and ceiling, rounded furniture and decor all create a sense of fluidity and relaxation.

We were lucky with the light in the apartment, the sun’s rays play with the perforation of the panels all day long. Blinds protect from excessive insolation.

The color palette of the project arose spontaneously: Ekaterina Loskutova was inspired by the Mediterranean, yachts, the organization of space on the yacht and rounded shapes (compartment cars, boats and private boards).

The wall in the bathroom is hidden behind a mirror panel, which also hides a deep closet with an ironing board. There is a deep built-in wardrobe in the hallway.

An unusual mirror and vintage Italian sconces hang in the bathroom.
